What is the dress code?

Our theme is a garden party, with motifs of spring colors and florals. We ask that you wear cocktail attire. 


What weather should I expect?

Tennessee in March is usually mild, low 70s, but can get chilly at night. However, Tennessee weather can be unpredictable, so rain or colder temps are possible. We have a backup plan to move inside in case of severe weather. 


Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Our Ceremony will be outside with our reception indoors. In between, we will have a cocktail hour on the patio. We have a backup plan in case of severe weather. 


Where is the reception?

Our Reception will follow the ceremony down the hill from the ceremony site. We will have golf carts to shuttle between the parking lot, the ceremony, and the reception. 


What are the best options for transportation to the venue?

Generally, driving or carpooling with other guests is the best way to get to the venue. There is ample parking at the venue.

Can I bring my Kids and will there be a babysitter?

All children are welcome, but we will not have a designated babysitter. The venue has plenty of room to run around and we plan to have an indoor area with games & activities for children. 


Can I bring a plus-one?

Plus ones have been designated on your invitation. If you do not have a plus one, do not pass go - do not collect $200.


Where do you recommend I stay?

The closest location to the venue will be hotels in Cleveland TN or Ooltewah TN. 

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott Ooltewah Hotel for any of our guests to use! Please book by March 10th to get the group rate. 

 

For a city ambiance, hotels in Chattanooga are also very close.

For larger groups, Air BnB is generally available in TN, and there may be houses for rent from the venue still available.

Are the Ceremony and reception area wheelchair accessible?

Yes. A gravel road connects the two locations. Please reach out to the couple if you have any concerns, we want to make sure everyone is accommodated.


What type of food and drink will be served at the reception?

Dinner will be served buffet style. We will have both gluten free and vegetarian option, please let us know if you have any other food restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate everyone. 

We will have a limited bar available throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Can I take and post photos of the wedding on social media?

No, we are recluses. 


What COVID-19 measures are in place?

At this time, no specific COVID mitigations are planned. Masks are optional, but welcome. Please do not come if you have Coronavirus symptoms. Our ceremony will be outside, and there is outside space at the reception venue.
